Description
This stage, the most accessible of the route, serves as a small warm-up and allows you to test your equipment on this GR.
The first part of the journey begins gently on the road. Take the opportunity to capture the landscape with a photo at Les Amandiers beach, before engaging on the departmental road 18 (D18).
Along the way, GR marks on telecom poles confirm you're on the right track. After passing a church, a left turn leads you onto the Chemin de la Solitude, signaling the start of a new phase of the adventure.
As the trail, wide and clear, rises, it reveals a spectacular view of the vast marine cul-de-sac, a sight not to be missed. The path narrows gradually entering the forest, announcing the most demanding section of the route. Although punctuated by some steep climbs, this part remains well maintained and clearly marked by GR signs (white and red) and hiking milestones (yellow), guiding you through this immersive adventure.
